2025, OPEN EDITION
POLISHED FERRETIC STAINLESS STEEL, MAGNET DETAIL
45 x 17.5 x H 15 cm | Ø 0.6 cm x H 30 cm
A homage to Apollonius of Perga, an ancient Greek mathematician whose studies of conic sections framed the understanding of curves as a language of geometry and latent motion.
Designed to rest in perfect equilibrium, while performing the minimum required, the composition is held together by attraction. A concealed magnet draws the ferritic edge of the curved plane towards it — they touch, assembled only by proximity. The object remains whole because the conditions allow it. Magnetically linked, the modules engage through attraction, resisting permanence.
