Axis is a magnetic candle holder, inspired by the coordinate systems of geometry and the ancient myth of axis mundi, an abstract concept present in many cultural traditions and religious beliefs. Designed as a linear vertical form, accented by a magnetic detail at its base, Axis balances on any ferritic surface.

Its modular and magnetic qualities enable adaptability within the design series. Forming a versatile system that generates new compositions and advances into a conceptual spatial inquiry. At recent events it has been interpreted as a vessel for a single stem, styled on a tray.
